The Conway Career Center serves St. Joseph Catholic School, Vilonia, Greenbrier, Mayflower, Bigelow East End, Guy-Perkins, Quitman, Rosebud, Heber Springs, South Side and Conway High School. Also, the Conway Center has two satellite schools in Vilonia and Quitman serving Mt. Vernon, Heber Springs, West Side, Greers Ferry and Rose Bud. 

The goal of CACC is to better serve student training needs in several job specific programs by pooling students from around the county. The cost for many schools would far outweigh the number of students served without consolidating students and resources.

Job training available to students includes banking & finance, auto body repair, technical drawing, construction trades, metal trades, cosmetology, medical professions, microcomputer systems technology and advanced computer application classes.

We have a fast-growing program that allows our students access and credit in formal trade apprenticeships. This has caused several courses to link with ASU Bee Bee Community College, Pulaski Technical College, Nabholz University, the Bureau of Apprentice Training, and the Metalworking Connection.

This arrangement can help the student have as much as two full years of an apprenticeship completed by the time they graduate from high school. This results in the student earning more money and being more valuable to an employer sooner.

The National Vocational Technical Honor Society is for students who have excelled in their studies. Membership requirements include exceptional performance in class, outstanding attendance, club participation and model behavior standards.

Vocational student organizations are an integral part of each of the courses. VICA, HOSA and FBLA are affiliated with state and national organizations. Students compete in leadership and skill contests each Spring. Numerous CACC state level winners have gone on to compete in national level contests.
